Amy is 28!

Yep yep, I turned 28 last Tuesday.

My colleague had a birthday cake surprise-delivered to my office, shared scrapbook vouchers with another colleague. Bob brought me out for dinner at one of my favourite restaurant, bluffing me that he had no plans for dinner venue when he picked me up, but told the waitress that he had a reservation at 7pm when we reached. There, I had my favourite borsch soup, oysters and escargots. Bob told me my birthday gift will be the air ticket to Bangkok in July. Yeah, that's just Bob. He will conveniently pay for the recent purchase that I made and announced that it's my gift for whatever upcoming occasion. I have no complaints though, because it kind of save me money on stuff that I've budgeted for, but need not spend on.

My gang gave me craft vouchers, which got me super ecstatic. My ex-colleagues celebrated my birthday with a yummy-licious dinner, surprised me with a slice of chocolate cake with a lighted candle and further surprised me with a crystal gift, which one of the ex-colleague, who was never part of this group (we celebrate each other birthdays, meet up on CNY and Xmas), couldn't turn up in time after he said he wanted to join us.

I got ang bao from Mum and surprise, surprise, ang bao from my dear bro. Not much but the thought alone weighed tons!

And my Sis promised to buy me something that I wouldn't have spent on. A photo storage box that will soon be in stock at Laine's. And she made me a gorgeous paint bottle holder, which I absolutely adore!

And I've bought myself quite a bit of scrapbook stuff over the month, that it just seem like my birthday every other day.

One of my happiest birthday ever.

Photos!

My birthday cake, which I cut in the pantry. No one knew it was my birthday and no one wanted to take the cake either, since it was just after lunch when I distributed. My bad.

Two out of a dozen left, before I remembered to take pictures.

Same, two out of a dozen left.

My favourite borsch soup! This photo doesn't do justice but I can tell you the soup is yummy-licious!

The very cute holder that my Sis painstakingly made for me. Thanks Sis! You're the best lah!

Blink Clover Pin from Swarovski. The surprise gift from that not-in-the-usual-gang ex-colleague. Erm, the real actually looks smaller, cuter and definitely prettier.

And I started my day with an early breakfast at the MacDonald's near my workplace and bought a gift for myself.

A pair of Shrek ears! Pic's a little blur though.

Thanks to my friends, my buddies, my Sis and most importantly, my Bob for making my birthday a memorable one!
