On Saturday night, Tara saw me painting my nails and said she wanted hers painted too. So I obliged and painted only her toe nails. But she saw me painting my finger nails and said she wanted to paint her finger nails too.
So I told her, sure, I will paint for her, but once her nails are painted, she cannot suck her thumb anymore. We are trying to wean her off so I thought this is a good chance she might just listen and stop sucking her thumb altogether.
The little one pondered for a few seconds, pointed her thumb at me and said:
"不要擦这个!"
