Tara Singing

I've never heard Tara sing to any songs before, even when she's watching her favourite Hi-5 shows. She would dance and move but she has never sing.

Last night, Tara was pressing the buttons of the stereo in Bob's car. And accidentally played a song which she started to go "Aiya, ah, la... la... la...". We have never heard her "talk" like that before so we thought she might be singing. True enough, when it comes to the chorus part where both performers were hitting the high notes, Tara would sing along! It's hilarious! We played the song over and over again and when we said "Sing song", she would start to go "Aiya, ah... ah.... la...........". By the way, the song is "The Prayer" by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. It's a very, very beautiful song.

I've tried to capture it on video but the little gal just refused to sing when I start recording. I've only managed to get bits and pieces. So far, this is the best video I've got. The front part, she sounded like she's making noises but the middle part is definitely the singing. Sometimes, she will sit on my lap, suck on her thumb and sing at the same time. Way too cute.

We realised that not only will she sing to this song, she actually sang to two other songs by Andrea Bocelli. I guessed she must really enjoyed his songs, so I told Bob to get his lastest CD for the little gal.

At times like this, I will always feel that the pains of labour I've went through was really, really worth it. The way she touched my heart every time is indescribable.
